Bobbie Perkins is the Spiritual Director of the Dallas Meditation Center. She began working at Dallas Meditation Center in 2011 as Personal Assistant to the founder, Brother ChiSing, and became the Executive Director in 2016 after Brother ChiSing’s passing. Bobbie managed the successful renovation and relocation of the Dallas Meditation Center to its new space in 2017.
Also in 2017, Bobbie was ordained into the Order of Interbeing, an organization founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh for lay members of the Plum Village Buddhist tradition. She is the founder of the Interbeing Sangha, a Thich Nhat Hanh sangha that meets weekly at the Dallas Meditation Center. Bobbie is available to meet with individuals and groups to share the many benefits of developing a Mindfulness Practice.
Bobbie is a retired public school teacher and an amateur musician who enjoys singing, writing haiku poems, drawing mandalas, reading, and trying out new recipes.

Andy McDonald is an ERYT 500 registered yoga teacher. He teaches mindfulness, meditation, and yoga at Dallas-area community colleges, yoga studios, and meditation centers. He has taught yoga and mindfulness meditation techniques to students as young as 7 and as old as 93 in both group classes and individual private instruction. Andy integrates his training and studies in mindfulness, meditation, metaphysics, and breathwork, along with his deep understanding of nature to help people realize deeper levels of personal transformation. He has a BS and MS from Texas A&M University and became a certified yoga teacher in 2004.
