Bobbie Perkins is the spiritual director emeritus of the Dallas Meditation Center. She began working there in 2011 as the Personal Assistant to the founder, Brother ChiSing and became the Executive Director in 2016 after Brother ChiSing’s passing. Bobbie managed the successful renovation and relocation of the Center to its new space in 2017.

Also in 2017, Bobbie was ordained into the Order of Interbeing, an organization founded by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh for lay members of the Plum Village Buddhist tradition. She is the founder of the Interbeing Sangha, a Thich Nhat Hanh sangha that meets weekly at the Dallas Meditation Center. Bobbie is available to meet with individuals and groups to share the many benefits of developing a Mindfulness Practice.

Bobbie is a retired public school teacher and an amateur musician who enjoys singing, writing haiku poems, drawing mandalas, reading, and trying out new recipes.
