Mindful Mondays is a gentle weekly gathering that invites us to slow down and touch the present moment in the midst of our everyday lives. Together, we explore how mindfulness and meditation can be lived—not only on the cushion, but in our walking, listening, working, and loving. Each gathering includes sitting meditation, a short reading, and spacious, heart-centered reflection.
This practice is part of the Awakening Heart Community at the Dallas Meditation Center and is rooted in the Plum Village tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. We practice in a spirit of simplicity, compassion, and togetherness, allowing understanding and ease to arise naturally.
All are welcome—whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for many years. People of all spiritual backgrounds, as well as those without a spiritual or faith tradition, are warmly invited to join us just as you are.
