Group meditation: Weekday noon – Zen-To-Go IN-PERSON
Zen-To-Go is a gentle midday pause—a brief, restorative refuge of calm in the midst of a busy day. This drop-in offering invites you to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with yourself, even if only for a little while. Our time together includes a guided meditation, a short reading, and a simple reflection to support mindful living beyond the cushion.
As part of the Awakening Heart Community at the Dallas Meditation Center, this practice is inspired by the Plum Village tradition of Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh. With warmth and simplicity, we cultivate presence, ease, and clarity—one mindful breath at a time.
Zen-To-Go is open to all levels of meditation experience, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. We warmly welcome people of every spiritual background, as well as those who do not identify with any spiritual or faith tradition. Come as you are, and carry a little more peace with you into the rest of your day.
🌿🙏 We accept donations and funding to sustain the community. We are able to sustain this practice because of the generosity of our teachers, who offer their teachings openly, and the generosity of members of our sangha, who offer financial support to continue the cycle of reciprocity and keep the wheel of the Dharma turning. By donating today, you ensure these life-changing teachings continue for everyone.
